In 1996, my wife Barbara and I began an exciting venture in the window fashion industry. With over a decade of experience in furniture, interior design, drapery, and upholstery, we launched a business we could operate from home. Our aim? To create a flexible lifestyle that would allow us to enjoy family time with our sons, Sam and Jack, while exploring new horizons. Thus, New Vision Enterprises Inc. was born, focusing on window treatments and blinds. Our decision to start Exciting Windows! By Mini Blind King came from a desire to blend our professional expertise with our values. We wanted to create a work-life balance that would allow us to be present for our children's milestones while also pursuing our passion for interior design and window treatments.

Our story started with a credit card, a handful of samples, and a spark of creativity. We collaborated with a graphic designer for our logo and marketing materials and set out on our path.
